Summer Fayre

The date for this years Summer Fayre has been set as Saturday 10th July 2010

What is the PTA?

Parents and Teachers Association.  Comprised of parents and teachers working together to fundraise for the school

Who's involved?

Any parent and teacher who wants to be.

What do we do?

Raise money for the school by organising fundraising events that parents and/or pupils can be involved in.  Each year we hold Christmas & summer fayres, quiz nights, discos.  We're always trying to do new things, like a fashion show.  How about you come and give us some more ideas.....please

When do the PTA meet?

We usually meet once each half term, generally in the Happy Hometime Club.  Our next meeting is on Tuesday March 3rd at 8pm.  Late last year we also had a coffee morning, and we're hoping to do another soon.

What happens at a PTA meeting?

We decide on future events, come and give us ideas.

What has the PTA fundraised for in the past?

Outdoor reading corner in KS1.  Interactive whiteboards in every classroom.  Ice lollies on school sports day.  Outdoor shelter areas.  Assistance in paying for the school trip to see Jungle Book.

What is the PTA currently fundraising for?

Adventure playgroup equipment.  The school has a wish list and we do our best to fundraise for everything on it
